I Tahiti finns väggmålningar nästan överallt. Det är graffiti, målningar och konstverk. De flesta är bara där för att dekorera en vägg som annars skulle se riktigt trist ut. En del är reklam, men nästan med en gömd logotyp. De är alla vackra.
Tahiti has a lot of wall paintings almost everywhere you go. There is graffiti, paintings and artwork. Most of them are just for decorating a wall that would look rather dull without the painting. Some of them are commercials, but almost with a hidden sign. They are all really beautiful.
Reklam. Snygg reklam. Färger som matchar företaget affisch. Baksidan till en lokal där du kan hitta lite allt möjligt till ett bra pris. Och så trottoaren utanför en butik för kameror, skrivare, ja vad som helst under det rätta namnet.
These are commersials, nice commersials. Colours that go well together with the colours of the business. The back side for a local shop where you can find what you might need at a cheap rate. And the pavement outside a shop for cameras, printers, whatever with the right brand name.
Graffiti. Den allra vanligaste taggen var nog “Bask”, fanns över precis hela Tahiti; såväl öppet som dolt, högt och lågt.
