Det här är staden där gudarna föddes, det är i alla fall det
som den övergivna stadens namn betyder. Om det nu var så, så måste gudarna ha
flyttat därifrån för varför skulle annars en så imponerande stor och mäktig
stad gå tillbaka, bli plundrad och övergiven? Teotihuacán kan också betyda
”platsen där människan blev gud” Kanske var det därför staden blev tom….
Vi vandrade på Calzada de los Muertos, de dödas gata, och
klättrade upp på både månens och solens pyramid. Solens pyramid är dryga 70
meter hög, i botten har den samma mått som Cheopspyramiden men den har en annan
lutning och är inte lika hög. Utsikten från pyramiderna över hela
Teotihuacan och dalen är imponerande.

This is the

If this is true, the gods must have moved somewhere else. Otherwise such an
impressive big and powerful city would never have been sacked, burnt and
abandoned… Teotihuacán can also be translated to “the place where men became
gods” Maybe that is why all people disappeared from here….
We walked
The Causeway of the Dead and climbed the Pyramids of the Moon and the Sun. The
Pyramid of the Sun is more than 70m high, its base is almost the same size as
that of the Pyramid of Cheops, but another angle that makes it lower. The view
from the pyramids over Teotihuacán and the valley is impressive.
