I Altavista, Nayarit, bodde Tecoxquinfolket innan de europeiska erövrarna tog över marken. Vi gjorde sällskap med Kenta Anaes och Fluentas besättnigar och besökte deras mer än 2000 år gamla hällristningar och heliga plats. Korset symboliserade de fyra riktningarna och universums enhet, virveln stod för vinden. Poolen med det klara vattnet är kungens badkar, eller La Pila del Rey.
We visited the petroglyphs in Altavista with the crews of Kenta Anae and Fluenta. The stones were carved by the Tecoxquin more than 2000 years ago. The cross symbolized the four directions and unity of universe and the swirl represented the wind. We also dipped our toes in the cold water in The Kings Basin, or La Pila del Rey
